I dont even know where to begin... the moment i walked in, was met with the most incredibly bubbly and friendly host(Austin) who immediately let gave me the confidence i picked the right spot to try out. We almost talked for 20 minutes before i remembered i came for food so asked his rec. I promised on my return trip to try the bulgogi which he said was the most popular but i was intrigued by the kimchi infused fried rice so got that and i was not dissapointed! Starter was a salad that had a dressing i thought was a hint of peanut butter but he let me know the secret sauce 😅 but i cant ruin there secret recipe but its weird to say...its a salad you HAVE TO TRY. Literally every dish was fresh ingredients and exploding with flavor. I cannot so enough good things to convince you all to try this spot even if just one time!

Ordered take-out 45 minutes before they closed. The food came out hot and delicious. We ordered crunchy breaded pork, SB chicken bulgogi and takkboki. The service was fast and friendly. Only con is the website they use for ordering had glitches, and it took a few tries to be able to pay. Other than that, we will definitely be coming back.

Great food! Can't comment on whether or not it's super authentic compared to more traditional Korean restaurants, but nonetheless still enjoyable. Went during their soft opening so they do have a limited menu. I'm curious to see how they grow. Plate presentation was also gorgeous! Clean, comfortable restaurant. Friendly welcome and service. Kolby served us and was absolutely wonderful. Next time we're in San Jose, we definitely want try here again and see their growth.

Tteokkbokki I ordered the base (without cheese) The rice cake texture was soft and chewy in the most delicious way. The sauce is mildly spicy from the gochujang. The sauce was thinner than I expected but I think it was because it came out so fresh and hot because the flavor still penetrated through the rice cake. I'd come back I also ordered the Short Ribs which comes with rice, a side of japchae and a side salad with sesame dressing. The sesame dressing tastes like a classic sesame sauce. The japchae tasted so fresh and the textures of the veggies really come through! My only critique is I do think if they used smaller plates, the entree wouldn't look so small for Galbi. The portion is actually really filling and large but the plate made it look small. I tried the bite of the spicy pork plate that my partner ordered and it was so flavorful! The meat was juicy and came out piping hot. They have specials for lunch! It's a rice bowl with protein but as a note it doesn't come with sides like the japchae or the side salad. The portions on the lunch special for the rice and meat are the same as the option with sides which I thought was very generous!

We came here around 1:30pm on a Monday. The place is indeed very small inside but we were seated almost right away. The menu was VERY simple, which made it easy to decide what to order. We got beef bulgogi and kimchi fried rice with chicken. The food came out fast and it was tasty. Nothing fancy and no banchan typically served at a Korean restaurant. But it's good to have a simple but well cooked meal sometimes.
